5 Minute Fantasy

I've been waiting for this book for weeks, I just can't stand it know longer. Finally the day arrived. My mate Mandy and I caught the bus into town and stepped into W H Smiths, I went to the desk to ask for the book I had ordered.

"Hello, how can I help you" asked the lady at the desk. "I ordered a book a few weeks ago" I replied. "What book is it" "Somebody Someday by Robbie Williams" I told her. "I'm afraid we have had a delay, the book won't be in for another 2 weeks" she said.

Mandy tugged at my arm, "Look at this" she cried. "There is a competion to win a date with Robbie Williams!" I picked up a leaflet, ready to do what it took to get that date, I suppose it cheered me up a bit. Me and Mandy got a bus home, I said bye and got into my house to get started on the competion. 1st question-easy Freedie, 2nd-Missy, 3rd-Janet. This is easy I thought, I filled in the rest of the sheet and posted the answers.

The next few days I was really nervous and watching the post all the time. Monday, There it is, I screamed, a letter addressed to me. I ripped open the envelope, and read the letter. Congratulations, (that sounded good already) you received full marks on are Robbie Williams quiz, enclosed is an autographed photo of Robbie. I am afraid you have not won the chance to meet him. As you can imagine I was devastated, I cried for ages.

 Tuesday, I went back to W H Smiths, the book was in. I was paying at the desk when a voice behind me said "You'll enjoy that book, it's good" in a northern ascent. " I turned round to see who it was and there stood before me was him, Robbie Williams, the man who I admire most. Next thing I knew I was on the floor and had fainted.

I woke up having a terrible headache, the same voice said "I've had lots of people do that but never in a book store" He laughed with a friendly voice, "You alright?" Robbie (who I presumed it was) asked. "I'm sorry about fainting, It was just such a shock" I said whilst getting up.

Robbie moved closer, my heart was racing. He sat next to me and we chatted for a while, it was the best moment of my life. It was getting late and I had to be back, Robbie handed me something" I think this is yours". It was Somebody Someday.

We hugged and I went home. At home I decided to look in the book, in the inside there was a letter it read, here is my mobile number, it was great speaking to you and I would love to meet up again sometime, signed R. Williams.
